Yo.

From New Mexico, wandered my way up to Alaska.

The high desert is home -- I was raised on the mesas of the Pajarito Plateau, under the Jemez Mountains, over the Rio Grande Valley.

I began shooting black and white film in my mom's old Nikon FM for high school photo classes. While at college, I was lucky enough to walk into an internship in David Edwards' photo studio. I spent afternoons in the sunny attic scanning slides from his decades-long career. Between stories of his adventures in Afghanistan, Mongolia, and the Grand Canyon, we would talk photography -- composition, layering, lighting, and storytelling in a frame.

I like rough mountains, big ridgelines, wild light, finding those places, and I like to think those elements make dope photos.
